HOUSTON ENDOWMENT PROVIDES $150,000 GRANT TO BAY AREA

WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE TO GAIN AN ADDITIONAL $50,000 GRANT!

Our clients who receive therapy services, or participate in our aquatic exercise classes have seen many improvements occuring in our indoor Natatorium over the last year. These renovations started in 2011, when Bay Area resurfaced the junior Olympic sized pool.

As a result of a $150,000 grant provided by the Houston Endowment the pool and dressing room floors were resurfaced. This grant also allowed Bay Area to replace the leaking skylights over the pool, and to replace the shower heads and faucets in the dressing rooms. In the near future we will be replacing some of the aging mechanical equipment in the natatorium as a result of the grant.

The Houston Endowment also provided Bay Area with a $50,000 Challenge Grant that will paid on or before November 30, 2013, provided that Bay Area raises $50,000 from other sources toward this project. If we meet the conditions of the Challenge Grant this will provide Bay Area with an additional combined $100,000 to go toward the overall natatorium renovation budget of $357,660. We need your help in acquiring this grant! 

Bay Area is actively pursuing additional grants to the Center to meet the requirements of the $50,000 Challenge Grant, but your contributions could greatly assist Bay Area in meeting this funding goal. Please consider providing a contribution to Bay Area Rehabilitation Center for this purpose.
