Aquatic Services

A feature unique to Bay Area Rehabilitation Center (the Center) is our indoor Aquatic Center. The Aquatic Center features a junior-Olympic sized warm-water pool (88 - 90o) with an attached hot tub. The Aquatic Center includes:


•A pool that is accessible by chairlift, a wheelchair ramp leading into the pool and/or hot tub, as well as traditional ladders and steps providing access for all participants regardless of their ability to enter the pool independently


•Large wheelchair accessible dressing areas with showers and separate dressing areas

Water Exercise Classes

 
In addition to providing a great location for therapy services, the Aquatic Center also features several conveniently scheduled Aquatic Exercise Classes led by a qualified instructor.  These classes do not require a physician's prescription to participate, but your physician does have to approve you taking the class to ensure youre health allows you to participate in the conditions you will encounter during the classes.
