Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Program

Bay Area Rehabilitation Center (the Center) has been providing services to pediatric aged clients since 1948, and since that time has offered the most current therapy techniques.  The Center offers occupational, physical and speech therapy services through our Pediatric Program.

The Center's professional therapy staff is qualified to treat:

• Closed head injuries
• Developmental delays
• Downs Syndrome
• Genetic syndromes
• Muscular Dystrophy
• Neurological syndromes
• Post surgical
• Spina Bifida
• Orthopedic conditions

Our Speech Therapists are qualified to treat:

• Articulation
• Delays in language development
• Feeding
• Oral motor stimulation
• Stuttering
• Voice

Unique therapy services provide include:

• Assistive technology
•  Aquatics
• Augmentative communication
• Communication devices
• Gait analysis
• Sensory integration
• All services require a prescription from a physician
• Clients should call for currently accepted insurance plans
